Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, then delete it. No category is kept indefinitely.

1. Principle

No indefinite retention. Each category of data has a purpose and a retention period; when the purpose ends, we delete or de-identify it.

2. What we keep and for how long

Account information — kept while the account is active; deleted after account closure within a defined window. [Window to be confirmed.]
Learning progress — kept while the account is active so learners can resume; deleted on account closure or request.
AI chat conversations — kept for a limited period to provide and improve the lesson experience, then deleted. [Specific deletion timeframe to be set before launch.]
Payment records — kept as required for tax/accounting and handled by Stripe.

3. Deletion on request

You can ask us to delete personal information at any time, and we will, subject to limited legal retention obligations. Contact privacy@thinkfirst.ai.

4. Security during retention

While retained, data is protected under our written information-security program with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
